At ITM Tech, we are proud to continue supporting female Irish racing driver Nicole Drought as she competes on the international motorsport stage.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of watching Nicole develop into one of Ireland’s leading racing drivers through hard work, professionalism and determination. Last weekend marked another major milestone in that journey as Nicole secured an outstanding podium finish during her debut weekend in the 2026 Iberian Supercars GT4 / TCR Championship at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal.

For everyone at ITM Tech, seeing Nicole secure a podium result at such a prestigious international event is a proud moment and another reflection of the commitment, professionalism and determination she has shown throughout her racing career.

Supporting Performance at the Highest Level

As a Managed Services and Cyber Security provider, ITM Tech understands the importance of preparation, precision and performing under pressure.

These qualities are equally important in professional motorsport, which is one of the reasons we are proud to continue supporting Nicole throughout her racing career.

From competing successfully in Irish and UK championships to now racing internationally across Spain and Portugal, Nicole continues to represent Irish motorsport with distinction.

Earlier this season, RTÉ Sport covered Nicole’s move into the Iberian Supercars Championship, highlighting the significance of her step into international GT competition:

A Major Achievement at Portimão

The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, commonly known as Portimão, is regarded as one of the most technically demanding circuits in European motorsport.

Known for its fast sweeping corners, dramatic elevation changes and challenging braking zones, the circuit regularly hosts major international racing championships.

Competing with the Protech Motorsport team in a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car, Nicole adapted quickly to the pace and intensity of the Iberian Supercars Championship and delivered a standout performance against a highly competitive international field.

Nicole’s podium finish during the opening round immediately positions her as one of the drivers to watch throughout the 2026 season.

Fans can follow Nicole’s latest racing updates and championship news through her official website:

Additional coverage of Nicole’s preparation for the 2026 season and her move into racing across Spain and Portugal was also featured by Nenagh Live earlier this year:

Looking Ahead to the 2026 Season

The 2026 Iberian Supercars calendar includes races at some of the most recognised circuits across Spain and Portugal including Valencia, Jerez and Estoril.

Following such a strong debut weekend, everyone at ITM Tech is looking forward to supporting Nicole throughout the remainder of the championship.

Her continued success reflects not only her talent behind the wheel but also the professionalism and commitment she brings to every aspect of motorsport.

Congratulations once again to Nicole, and the entire team on a fantastic opening weekend.
